Get some T Rex rat traps and some peanut butter. Can get these traps on Amazon. They work well...so I've heard.
Your "nuts" good eating quick clean crock pot and endless possibilities. Made squirrel noodle soup yesterday and squirrel sausage back in January. Wack and pack or slow cook them can't go wrong.
FYI 16 Squirrels will yield in the ballpark of 6 lbs of meat

"Where the hell is Eddie, doesn't he eat these things?"
I piss off stupid people...
5 gallon bucket half full of water with a smear of peanut butter about 4 inches down. Just don't forget to check it
[QUOTE=BenedictGomez;2869346]If you saw Chip and Dale you have chipmunks, not squirrels!
Seriously though, you had the right idea, just the wrong ammunition choice.
Buy some .22lr #12 shot* and have a home-friendly and fun attic safari.
*EDIT: CCI (below) is the best. Way better than Winchester or Federal.Where do you find these? Never saw them before.
My cousins over in Poland had the same problem of squirrels in the attic. This is how they got rid of them.
I would stick with plan A.....beers and 12 gauge
