Had 8 on sacks two weeks ago, buddy had 3, and my brother 1. It was a first trip for me and trip of a lifetime. Lost a 20lber according to a guide in a boat that was watching me fight the fish. The 18 degree weather was worth it. Had TONS of fish holding right tight on the bank even in 8 inch water. Looking to head back up in a week or two.

I do not know the pricing and no they do not sell them at the Pequest Hatchery. If you google Musky Trout hatchery you can get their contact info. They are located on Asbury-Bloomsbury road just East of Rt. 78.

In Michigan they are not allowed to sell Steelhead eggs, not sure if it is the same in N.Y.

Crushed them today in the small tribs. Fish everywhere. Caught them on jigs, egg sacs, jensen eggs, rapalas. Keep changing it up when the bite slows.

Didnt fish Salmon river. With the rivers going up from the melt off , most tribs have fish, even drainage ditches.
