I love hunting with the muzzle loader. In my zone, I have the Monday and Tuesday before 6 day where I can shoot a buck and then I have a few weeks after the six day and some does day to hunt before it opens up again in January. There's always less people at least by me that hunt during the muzzle loader season. To me, it's well worth it.

I never work the first day of M/L buck season. If I don't get a buck that day I will not work the second day but that rarely happens.

    thanks!
You have alot of State land between you and Rt. 539,Greenwood just on the other side holds good deer numbers.Get out and look around.I see just as many big bucks the last week of the year as I do during the rut. They need calories!
