    Porcupines

I read that porcupines are attacking dogs in Blairstown. Is NJ in their natural range? Is the state stocking them or are they wandering here from elsewhere?

Porcupine are docile creatures and do not attack. The dogs attack/bite them and get a face full of quills. Yes, this is their natural range.

They were everywhere when i lived just across the boarder in PA. No reason they cannot make it across the river.
