Great videos as usual FA! But one question, why? What do you believe the extremely heavy BHs are doing for you? How do they fly at distance with such a high FOC, and how much did your drop change from standard BHs?

Ok, that’s more then one question! LOL I’m genuinely curious as to why you started using those weighted BHs?

Still testing, I was hoping for a broadside shot next but... so far, not killing them any faster than a 350-400 grain 1.5" cutting diameter mechanical/arrow!
Accuracy at 150 yards with the 600 grain Bishop broadhead/1,000 grain arrow:

That’s what I suspected FA. Was that your expectation? The higher KE will not anchor a Deer or kill it any faster, the fact that a BH gets through a Deer faster because of increased KE will not impact time to death. The blood volume still has to drop, a heavier BH won’t help that.
It will however, potentially punch through a shoulder on a less then optimal hit, but you don’t appear to have an issue hitting where you’re aiming! LOL

As far as accuracy, yes the arrow may fly fine, but it appeared the trajectory was like a rainbow! That’s fine if your Shooting in open fields, but in the woods it’s a recipe for disaster, as I’m sure you are well aware. Now, if you compared the trajectory arch to a standard BH, you’d be able to quantify the difference and determine if the cost/benefit is worth it, and if practical for the field.

Its cool to test out different combinations of equipment. I have done much testing on BH penetration and such, sometimes you find out some useful info, sometimes not, but typically you’ll always learn a little something you didn’t know when you started.
