As far as accuracy, yes the arrow may fly fine, but it appeared the trajectory was like a rainbow! That’s fine if your Shooting in open fields, but in the woods it’s a recipe for disaster, as I’m sure you are well aware. Now, if you compared the trajectory arch to a standard BH, you’d be able to quantify the difference and determine if the cost/benefit is worth it, and if practical for the field.
Its cool to test out different combinations of equipment. I have done much testing on BH penetration and such, sometimes you find out some useful info, sometimes not, but typically you’ll always learn a little something you didn’t know when you started.
That head is for dangerous African big game, I just try things.
Yeah, a broadhead that is over $100, I had to see what that was about... S7 tool steel, really holds a razor sharp edge and even if you bend it hitting a rock, lifetime warranty and is replaced. I will be sticking with 100 grain heads for long range.
