    I bought 20 acres from them two years ago,one of the reasons I went with them is they do their own financing. It's not easy getting a land loan now a days. You need to check out the land but they do have some pretty good properties

    How's the hunting experience been? Any of the above issues with locals?

    You will most always have to deal with locals when owning out of state land.The real issue is are they good or bad.

    Or you could always get around 40 acres in maine and not have to worry about locals or gun laws.

    whatever you buy make sure you own mineral and timber rights, makes no sense not to.

    Good point. My uncle bought property in the 80's and it was near Indian burial grounds or something like that so he couldn't build where he wanted to...Ended up selling the property to the town.
