With the price of everything going through the roof, I am trying to save a buck or two here and there. So here is a link for some off season thinking...

Cotton ball and rubbernand has worked just fine for me for years.
You can do a lot more for the environment by carrying a rifle then carrying a sign.

I use an old 35mm film container to stuff the cotten in to make it easier to transport. Fill it at the car, put the cap on and walk to your stand.

Then you can pull the cotton out (pre tie a string to the cotton to hang it - you dont have to touch it this way).

I use a film canister with an 8" piece of shoe lace hot glued to the cap and the bottom of canister.

I use gauze bandage compress, helps if you know someone in medical proffesion. Cut in strips, hang on north [mossy] side of tree.
