Some of the rep. canidates seem a little wishy wishy about 2nd amendment issues. As a hunter himself, Rick Perry seems to have OUR best interests in mind. I'm sold. Any thoughts???

    You're probably right. Unfortunately, he's doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell.

Yeah Perry did well last night but he will not get the nomination.I think Newt was very strong and I think Paul hurt himself again with his foreign policy stance.Mitt I think was so so.I don't believe him one bit about his stand on the 2a.I think he is just saying it to appease the crowd

Perry is definitely my favorite on the issues but he is unelectable. Paul is an idiot on foreign policy so I think Santorum or newt is my pick at this point.

I don't believe Mitt either about his 2nd A. stance...he seemed to play everything right down the middle...too wishy wishy...I hope something changes & Perry gets in...high hopes, I know...

All of these candidates are fighting an uphill battle with respect to 2A issues.
The media would have a field day with any casualty of curbing firearm restrictions.

For example; you could have 200 peoples' life saved by enacting a nationwide CCW reciprocity law. But, in a presidential election/debate/etc., it only takes one murder of a child/woman/mother or just about any victim by a registered CCW holder to make support of this initiative appear to be pro-violence to the media and general public.

Im not a fan of mitt at all, honestly, I wouldnt say I am a huge fan of any of them.

one of them is still gonna get my vote in november.

thats the political system we have.. vote for the lesser of two evils, not the best person for the job.
