I'm looking to buy some snares but I don't want to just order them over the internet. Does anyone know of a store that sells them that has a knowlegable staff near Picatinny Arsenal (Morris County or Sussex County)? I have racoons living in my attic and need to get them out because it's driving me crazy.

I need a snare because I can't get into the attic (it's not really and attic it's space between the sheetrock and the roof). I can see where they ate through the siding to get in though.

I live in that area and would be happy to get rid of the coons for you. Let me know if I can help.

sounds like yano318 is looking for a few pelts.

If you really want to snare him I can give you a couple of snares..Just meet me in Hope..But I'd be concerned if you plan on snareing him at the point of entry...He may do more damage after you catch him then he is doing now.
I suggest a box trap also, Set it on the ground near the house.

i agree with gobbler getter better of cage trapping him also alot better eye appeal to your neighbors in a cage rather than hanging a coon from the side of your house if you need snares eric space is not to far from you

You can do a lot more for the environment by carrying a rifle then carrying a sign.

Never snare a coon in or on the house. you are asking for alot of trouble. find where the coon is getting on the house at. it may be a tree, it may be the down spouts it could be the corners. look for the smudge marks or the hair on a tree. there should be tracks in the snow. and set a cage!!!!!!

This is my livelihood and I am really advising you to not use a snare here use a cage, if you need help call me, I don't want to hear your house burned down or you are arrested for animal cruelty because some aco, spca or neighbour saw a coon hanging from your house. plus you do not have a snare cert you can not set them if you do not have it.
