    New boat

Size: 125.2 KBJust picked up my new boat today, I got a G3 v150t 15' deep vee with a 40 Yamaha outboard. I mostly do fishing fresh water and hunting Delaware bay, but I figure it might be worth it for some saltwater fishing this summer around raritan bay. I don't know how fluking in there is, I don't own saltwater rods, but if anyone could point me in the right direction of rig setups to catch fish capable of the rods I own. Big fresh water with 40lb braided line. I don't know about public launches around there or let alone fishing there. I've been on one party boat as a kid never caught anything but a dog shark. All advice is appreciated.

Fluking is good in Raritan Bay. That boat will move! Where do you live? I'm sure we could figure out the closet public launch

Nice! that 40 will fly. I have about the same rig with a 25 and it moves. Your freshwater setups with 40# braid is plenty. you could fluke and bass no problem

Will be fine in the bay on decent days.
    i started fishing with a 14 with a 30 on it there .
heavy tackle isn't needed for fluking.
just need to be able to bounce 3- 6 oz buck tails .
can have fun with both stripers and bluefish there with heavy freshwater tackle.
to fish the back bay you can launch in Sayreville and run river out .
mid bay launch out of key port .
to fish out front you would launch out of the Atlantic highlands
