    R.I.P Captain John

My buddy told me today that Capt. John who ran the party boat Captain John out of Keyport has passed on at the age of 48, way to young. R.I.P. My condolences go out to his family.

Very sad news. I enjoyed fishing on his boat. He and his crew were true professionals. He seemed to have carved out a niche that attracted both families and loyal fishermen to his boat. I've been on many party boats where the crew did not respect women and children, but John and crew always treated everybody right. It will be difficult to fill his shoes on Raritan Bay.
