The buckets work but are kind of bulky. A regular tube compartment surf bag works fine
I'm going to be very busy in the afterlife, the list of people I'm going to haunt grows every day

I no longer need google, my wife knows everything

Here is a Cod Bucket (same setup) just has a nicer top...I'd guess the Plano 725 "Bucket Topper".
My "Handle" is not my aim, I'm paralyzed as a C4-5 quadriplegic.

How many bucktails do you want to carry? I used to use the square plastic laundry detergent buckets, just cut notches around the top edge and run a bracket through the center with notches as well, would hold quite a few, had room for other stuff inside, and when the lid is put on holds everything secure. They are smaller than a typical round bucket and can be stacked pretty easily.

best thing you can do is roll them in zip lock snack bags , then stack them in a plano box.
you want the bucktails to move around as little as possible so the hair stays straight. seen way too many bucktails that were brand new ruined by storing them in containers and roll ups where they move around and hit other bucktails,
keeping them not exposed to the salt air also keeps the hooks from rusting.

at the price you just paid for your bucktails having them bang around is only going to piss you off when new ones get ruined. and the buckets just take up alot of space.

The small plano bag I carry with 4 boxes has over 40 pounds of bucktails in it , neatly in a small area

now go buy some 8 OZ
