FS - Savage Mark II BV 22LR Heavy Barrel Laminate Stock

This rifle is brand new in box, never fired.

Supposed to be one of the most accurate 22s out there. The heavy barrel is perfect for target shooting. Before I picked it up I assumed it would be somewhat front heavy given the heavy barrel. However, it balances really well with the laminate stock and only weighs 6.5 pounds so would be great for hunting too.

Includes 2 boxes of ammo (200 rounds total). 1) Winchester Round Nose Copper Plated (40 grain, 1300 fps) and 2) CCI Mini Mag Long Range Hollow Point Copper Plated (36 grain, 1260 fps).

    Rifle Features-

    21" Heavy Barrel
    Recessed Target Crown
    Adjustable AccuTrigger
    Lightweight Action
    Natural Laminate Stock
    Detachable Box Magazine
    Weaver Bases Included
    6.5 pounds

$345. FID, Drivers License and all paperwork required.

Can meet in Somerset, Basking Ridge or anywhere between the two.

    Thanks,
    Mike

Thanks. It really is a nice rifle. The accutrigger is really nice in it. Light and crisp trigger pull.

Thanks Stevo. I'd like to come to the shoot and see what kind of groups this rifle can put up but I'll be with my father-in-law out in PA that day. From what I've read this rifle should consistently get 5-shot groups well under MOA. Some guys are shooting ragged holes at 50 yards and not much more than that at 100 yards. I'd hold on to it but with work, house and kids I hardly get enough time to sight in my deer rifles, so not likely I'll have the time to mess around with this one much. Was all set to mount a Weaver Classic V 6-24x42 on it but now going to throw that on a Sako heavy barrel 243 instead.

Awesome gun. Savage mark IIs are all great guns, I've had several and always regretted parting with them. Mine's similar MARK II BTV (but better). 100yrd nickel size 5 shot groups with no wind have been the best I could do(twice). Quarter size groups regularly. CCI standard velocity. GLWS
