Hi everyone. I am a new and inexperienced hunter just getting into the lifestyle. I just got my first hunting license Thursday and can't wait for Sept 11th! The reason for the intro is to explain away any ridiculous questions I may ask, as no one I know hunts and I've been doing research on my own.

Now for my question. I read that there is hog hunting in NJ and would love to get in on this. I went through the forums and found some articles, but saw the posts were a couple years old. Just wanted to see if this info was up to date. Since I'm new I feel comfortable sticking to WMA's. Looks like White Oak Branch WMA is the place to take hogs. Particularly in the swamps. Does this seem correct?

    Thanks for any input.

there are a few on WMA's, give them a little pressure, they go nocturnal or leave.
    most are on private land.

Its like they can read the F&G signs.

They really hold up on all the bordering private pieces. We should be good for getting at least five this year.

Thanks, but I already read that and the info in the digest. I was looking more for areas where people have had good luck. I know it's in zone 25, just looking for more specifics.

    Howd you get your screenname?
First used it in SOCOM 2 for PS2, and it just kindda carried over to every other platform/screen name.

Alright. Thanks for the help. I guess I'm gonna have to embrace the part of hunting that has nothing to do with bullets or arrows. Back to the books!

good info isn't placed on the net too often.

you can get them on public land, but it ain't easy.
