I purchased a pair of Field & Stream Gore-tex boots at Dick's. After using the boots about 12 times bow hunting, my socks would get wet crossing a 200 Yard field with morning dew. Dick's advise me to contact Gore-tex. Gore-tex requested I ship the boots to them for a test. They tested the boots, and agree they leak. They will replace the boots with any hunting boot made with gore-tex. Looking for advise on the best gore-tex boots made with 1000 thinsulate. some examples...Rocky 9" MTN Stalker 7181, Wolverine Praire Trekker 08244.
Rockies, 1000gram Rubber boots from Dicks, Cabelas 2000 Gram rubber boots and what made me happy were the Muck Woody Elites.
