In short no! I have taken some decent bucks but never a bruiser. I have actually taken 2 decent bucks from the ground with natural cover and feel that works better for mature deer. I actually shot a real old buck with a pistol from in a log

I know 3 different people who regularly take mature bucks from pop up blinds mostly with crossbows they are all very particular about blind placement I also highly doubt any of them will post about it here.
If you are slick enough to kill em from regular natural blinds you already know all you need to do it with a pop up IMO.

Give it a shot and good luck.

To each its own but I would not hunt form a blind. Hunting to me is also watching and enjoying nature and that is hard to do from an small window.

well buddy, just wait till you get older, then a ground blind will be looking really nice.

My son has taken a mature buck from one, and had opportunities at others. It is nestled in some small Christmas trees with only the front window open toward the field. An advantage of the blind is that deer have problems picking up his scent even with a bad wind and of course they can not see him.

In many cases a ground blind is superior to treestands. One property we hunted the deer would check every tree from a safe distance. We got picked off almost every time. Then we set up.some brushed in pop up blinds and crushed them. I killed a few that were looking up in the tree tops as the arrow passed through them.
