    Archery practice in state park

Am i allowed to take my target 🎯 out to the state forest and practice?

It's not a range, and there isn't one.

I would have to say no. For one it's a park second there are no safety zone set up for others not to enter impact area.

The answer is no , they don't allow target shooting except on authorized ranges.

Check your F&G Digest for archery ranges at the WMA'S

I guess you were still in sight so you were not "way out of the way" enough.
I tried it once 30 years ago and luckily a ranger spotted me and said to pack up and go BEFORE the park police come by, as they will nail your jazz to the wall.

But you can shoot at a deer in the exact same place.

    Weird

Guess they figure you could be poaching.

Burlington county is hard to find a practice range.
