Federal trophy copper 3"
Anyone shooting anything OTHER than Remington 2 3/4 accutips with comparable accuracy out of their Savage 220?.. Winchester partition golds?.. Winchester dual bonds?.. Hornady SST's?.. Lightfields.. etc..
3 inch accutips shoot best out of my gun, better than 2 3/4

I've had great, consistent success with 2 3/4" Winchester Partition Gold (260gr.). I'll be honest, my Savage 220 will eat anything I feed it without hesitation. Keep in mind, my shotgun shots are 65-100yds max, so past that distance I have no experience.
Best results with 3" Fed Trophy Copper followed by 3" Accutips in mine.
3 inch accutips never tried anything else.
Mine shoots best with Federal Barnes Expanders
"The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference and they deserve a place of honor with all that is good."
"Individualism has come in for an enormous amount of criticism over the years. It still does. It is widely assumed to be synonymous with selfishness...But the main reason why so many people in power have always disliked individualism is because it is individualists who are ever keenest to prevent the abuse of authority."
