Anyone have experience with Remington 750?

Does anyone have personal experience with the Remington Woodsmaster 750? Particularly in .243? I may be interested in buying/trading for one. I've heard a lot of issues with reliability/jamming and even barrels wearing out and I want to do my homework on it.

If ... you've heard of all the issues; "why would you still be interested in buying one?" Seems to me it's like researching a Samsung Galaxy Note7... LOL

Well, actually I believe the posts/reviews were mainly related to the previous versions of the Woodsmaster lineup. That's why I am asking if anyone has experience with the last model made, the 750. And in particular the .243 caliber.

Try and find a 742 or 760. The 750's are newer made junk in my opinion and overpriced

Yeah, I've seen the pricing and I am disappointed to see what some auction site sellers are hoping to get for them. That's why I am also asking here if anyone has one for sale/trade.

Buy a older model I have a 750 woods master carbine in 35 Whelen it kicks less then my savage 220 . Remingtion been putting out shit lately . Buy a older model can't go wrong but honestly in 243 I would go with a bolt action savage just my two cents .

I've been looking out for a Remington 750 - so I guess it qualifies as older. It seems that you enjoy yours in .35 Whelen - that's good to hear.
