LOL - I just read this, after posting a thread dedicated to two things, deer movement and arrow flight.... So I won't repeat it here...

Missed an 8 yesterday that would've been my biggest bow buck at about 115". Just moved trees, climbed up, hauled my bow up and there he was at my 9 0clock. I didn't hear him because of the wind and leaves and he didn't hear me climbing either. It was a clean miss, I saw my lumenok sail a few inches over his back. Just got home from a quickie hunt, got in at 4:30 and at 5:30 3 does came in quick, didn't hear them because of the wind again. They were not interested in the acorns all around me and I grabbed my bow to take one but as soon as they looked back I knew why. They were being trailed by a small 6. They still move in the wind, they gotta eat, usually in more open spaces.

Deer were moving both today and tonight. Saw 20+ in two sittings. It really wasn't too windy at first light today by me.

They move in the wind but are a little skittish, but it also helps keep your scent dispersed out pretty good. Kind of like natures answer to Ozonics....

The wind was swirling all afternoon. Morning was better. Had a 4 and spike walk in on me and the poor lone fawn so I did her a favor before the yotes get her

Not sure about the deer, but apparently bear don't mind the wind.
