For all you Horton owners, Ten Point purchased the "company". They will not service existing Horton crossbows. I have a Vision 175 so that sucks big time. They will come out with bows bearing the Horton name in 2015.
"There's more fun in hunting with the handicap of a bow than there is hunting with the sureness of a gun." -Fred Bear
Horton was in bad shape financially for a while before going belly up. Being the biggest manufacturer of crossbows for a long time, and with all the full inclusion states you would think they would have done better. I heard rumors about a few companies considering picking up the Horton name and buying them out. I can't blame ten point on the warranty/service deal as there are a ton of horton x-bows in circulation that they would loose money working on.
i would imagine if they bought them they have to have some parts laying around. I think that would be bad business for ten poind pissing off all the horton owners
Thank god now Horton will be a good bow!
“The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles.”
Archer36...how do you know that they will not service existing Horton crossbows?
