    for a semi .22 whats the maximum capacity mags for Jersey is 10 or 15 rounds? need to know as i'm looking to have some converted to be jersey legal before they come across the river

    And they don't have to be plugged to only allow 3. Just don't put more then 3 in while in Jersey. See page 26 Section Rifles, .22 caliber.

    i knew about the 3,, i wasnt talking about hunting, i was refering to owning it in Jersey in genral and to go to range with them

    I actually use to have a few 30 round mags for the mini 14 from before i moved to NJ.

    Just keeping them in my safe and not going out shooting with them - is ok? Or just having them in the house is some kind of NJ federal offense?

    Any person who knowingly has in his possession a large capacity ammunition magazine is guilty of a crime of the fourth degree unless the person has registered an assault firearm pursuant to section 11 of P.L.1990, c.32 (C.2C:58-12) and the magazine is maintained and used in connection with participation in competitive shooting matches sanctioned by the Director of Civilian Marksmanship of the United States Department of the Army.
