They went DOWN HILL big time.

I needed a few extra stands for a new property I just got. I had one stand in the attic I bought last year in January on sale for like $20. and I got one today from dicks.

what a P.O.S. they really cheaped out compared to last year. the stand was made of the crappiest steel tube. they couldnt even paint it green like last year. instead of having 2 verticle bars they have one.

last years model was so much nicer. the expanded metal floor is really thin and more spaced out. there isnt a little loop to feed the bottom strap through, on the seat there isnt the little pouch to put a hand warmer.

All the way around they cheaped out and made the cheapest product. I would have been more then happy if they had used the same design.

I mean what should I expect from a $40 tree stand but still.

just my little rant for the day.

if your thinking of buying a stand from dicks look else where cause you will be disapointed.

Hung my buddies stand today. Comfort zone hang on. The $40 one. Wow what a piece. I mean it serves its purpose once u buy ratchet straps. It came with two cheap straps that wouldn't tighten enough. Def spend a Lil extra for better stand

Briar Ive had two comfort zones for past three seasons and they serve a purpose just by no means comfortable and don't compare to the field and stream models. But overall happy with them.

I have about a dozen of them hanging now (last 2 years models) the top strap they come with is one of the fastest straps there is to hook to a tree. If it doesnt come tight , then something is being done wrong. I do use on ratchet strap instead of the buckle strap that comes for the bottom,

I have left these stands in place 2 seasons and they have held up well, and at less than 30 bucks when on sale , they are made pretty good. I have not seen this years model yet( shouldnt have to as I have another dozen still in boxes
