I am not a firearms guy.. at all.
On the rifle:
Kassnar Imports Harrisburg, PA 22LR only
Squires Bingham Model 16
METD 34 ARMS CORPORATION OF THE PHILIPPINES
My friend inherited these rifles and wanted to know...
1) their age
2) are they made for target, varmit, plinking?
3) their value
4) desirability... as far as selling goes.
He took one apart and cleaned it up, painted the metal parts and redid the stock...mistake?
Thanks for any help

I have never seen one before. I will take a guess. I think they are training rifles for some foreign military. Maybe the Phillipines?
I have never sat around a campfire, holding hands, and sang Kumbaya
not really any value to them, maybe $150 on a good day,,, as for u painting it no biggie, they came painted black from factory,,
Look like SK actions dolled up to look like AR15's. Search some of the gun specific national sites to see what they say.
