What do you think is better? Anyone have pros/cons on the bog pod and trigger stick?

Thinking about a monopod/bipod for the type of hunting I will be doing with it. I will be doing alot of stalking or ground hunting w/o a blind. I think the trigger sticks are nice for this since they are fast to deploy but not sure if they will hold up season after season? Not to mention I could also use this for wood chucks when I dont have a mounted bipod on the gun.

Let me know your thoughts and opinions

How sturdy is the tripod version? Is it easy to "spread the legs" fast

Seems like it is built well, but i dont think i will need the tripod version, the mono or bi will be ok i think.

Got the bog pod. Using it for a shooting tripod as well as a stand for a spotting scope.
So far, I think its more stable to shoot from than bi-pods or mono-pods . I used to use bi-pod shooting sticks for sitting shots, but found that anything past 250 yards began to get a little shakey, the bog pod seems to be more solid.
I will be testing it out next week, so I'll know for sure if I like it better.

did you look at the primos trigger stick tripod? if so, is there a large difference in quality between the two? I have never held a bog pod or saw one up close

I did look at the trigger stick tripod, but read some negative reviews as to their quality.
The bog-pods did not have any bad reviews, which is pretty rare these days.
I got the CLD, as they have a different mechanism for extending the legs. I found that these leverlocks are quicker to deploy than the twistloc of the RLDs. Probably not as fast as the Triggersticks, but the mechanism itself is adjustable and looks to be stronger than the Primos. Just my .02 cents.

The trigger stick can be banded together they have a large rubber band attached. I use it as a single walking stick. You can use as a monopod or opn for tripod. never used the other type sorry
