    Not essential, but I think its helpful to break up a solid color blob when bowhunting.

    I use nothing more than old BDU's in "woodland" or "tiger stripe."

    Keep a white hankerchief in your back pocket too especially when you're hunting state during gun season it helps break up your outline and blend lmao

    Bow hunting yes but scent control maybe more important. For gun hunting you can definitely get away without it.
