I hunt with a crossbow after having shoulder surgery. You think I care what anyone thinks. I will be in the woods hunting killing animals trying to stay away from humans and there opinions for as long as I can. Hunting is my piece

I was the biggest ball buster about them. Think if you can shoot a regular bow you should. Unfortunately i am suck shooting one due to major surgery on my neck and shoulder. I love that it allows me to still get out and hunt all bow season. Love just being out there my entire life enjoying the outdoors. Im not in to guns much and used to bow hunt that week any way. It has its place (crossbows)and i dont think its going away.

I love my compound and hope to shoot it again but God I will never judge. One never knows where they may end up. I'm glad you can still get out and do what you love. That's what's most important

I guess this subject has not been beat into the ground enough yet? Enough with worrying about what the other guy is doing, hunt with what brings YOU pleasure and stop being so selfish. As strange as it may sound, bow hunting may be better served if more would use a crossbow. There are a large number of people who don't practice, try to shoot at too far a distance, refuse to take any type of corrective lessons, or choose equipment because of peer pressure. As a result, they have less then satisfactory results but continue to hunt. Bow hunting is not a elitist sport, its merely another way to put game on the table, its unfortunate that some feel that their equipment choice is the only choice.

Almost 60 votes, and not a single person thinks crossbows shouldn't be allowed, and > 50% think they should be allowed just like they are today, in any archery season.

Pretty much confirms my belief that "crossbow haters" are actually a very small minority group, and comprised mostly of compound-only shooters (i.e. not recurve or longbow) who want people to think they're Robin Hood.

I have said it once n ill stay it again. Folks who can't pull a compound and getting kids in the woods all great reasons for it but my biggest pRoblem with cross bows is that one can take the class with one and then go afield with a compound. I have seen it in classes "ok I borrowed one because my Sight broke or something else went wrong with they're compound. I feel if u take the test with x gun that's all u should b able to use.
