I hunt mostly public township land where a fixed number of permits are issued per property, so its not quite like hunting Whittingham and other WMAs, though you do get folks running dogs, quads and occasionally, cameras and other equipment grow legs. The fellow hunters on my property, which is bow only, help each other out and definitely aren't brown and downers, so its actually a pretty good place to hunt.

I also had access to a private piece this past season but it was really too far and didn't really pan out.

All public. I don't even pursue private land anymore I just stick with public. Public land will always be there.

Both public and private. I have taken more deer on private land but have taken bigger deer, two over 140 net on NJ public land and you pay your dues on public land by scouting all year and hunting deep.

Where I live and hunt, there is more public land to hunt than there is private. So I mostly hunt public, but I have private access to some deep public land so it's almost like private. There is no sizable pieces of private property around here

I hunt two farms here in NJ. One is 52 acres and I hunt it with 4 other guys but, rarely at the same time and I hunt a 170 acre farm with my son and myself. Out of state, I hunt a 64 acre farm with my son and myself but, there are neighbors that hunt it as well.

The last 6 years its been township/management hunt for me. I lost most of my private spots through the years and have hunted public here and there. My last private spot which is approx. 500 acres in z2, I hardly hunt anymore. This is due to a friend and his co-workers being your typical brown and down guys who have completely ruined this spot!
