    maybe iam overlooking a different bait??what do other hunters used?..and yes ive even tried peanut butter...just looking for something different maybe ive missed.

    They say deer have a tendency to taste like, or similar to the food they eat. Try Lobster or Prime Rib. They'll hit your bait pile come winter.

    I had a deer lick clean a pot of baked beans and hot dogs mixed with mild picante sauce while camping at Worthington state park.
