I know I'm a little late...been busy

Anyway, my son Frank Jr. got his first doe on the, last drive, of the last day of permit shotgun in January. A neighbor of mine kicked it up and the guys in the line held off shooting so he could take it...very cool

I'll put a pic in the gallery.

Thanks all Thanks Drag for putting the pic up

Details: there were about 10 of us hunting, 5 standers and 5 pushing. Frank and I were standing in a line with my brother and some friends. It went: my neighbor(Tom), me, my brother(Vince), Frank Jr. and another man. Tom was to the left of us. He started meandering around to my left and kicked up the doe. She bolted towards me and then banked to my right towards Frank Jr and Vince. I put a bead on her and then dropped it and yelled for Frank Jr. to take her. Vince "suggested the same" to the other guy to let the "kid" take her. Which Frank did. Jr. was carry an H&R single 12, shooting 3" shells. He got a nice take down shot near the shoulder and used an ending shot to finish her. He was so dam excited, we all were. It was the only deer we saw all day. Frank did dress her out...he left the butthole for his dad to do Like I said before the other guys in our party were great. They shared in our happiness.

The best part is Jr.(16 years old) and I have been hunting for a few years now and I really hoped he would get one this year. We don't always limit out, but we have good times

Thankfully, he shares his father's belief...it not whether or not you get anything while your out, it's the time shared with family and friends and experiences gained that are important

Buck Nekkid,
Some words of wisdom....I don't know how old you are, I'll assume you are young, perhaps a teenager looking for a laugh....

                     Don't F with someone's kid.

You think a mother bear gets angry, you haven't seen anyone mad when there kid gets disrepcted by another adult.

Stronski..... Amen to that... That's where the line get's drawn...

You know we bust each others balls all the time.  Sometimes things get out of line.  However, this seems to be the first time the line was crossed and the gloves came out swinging.

So the kid has long hair, big deal. Hopefully we know not to judge a book by it's cover, he is probably in a band!

Nice deer kid, hoping you get many more!
