You can't possibly be serious! What your saying is a joke and just a rass, I'm certain that's what you mean.

First I want to say that was some pretty good shooting.  It doesn't look not sporting.  Just some unconventional ways to flush a bird (ex. lying on stomach and hitting with a stick.
However, I watching and looking at safety.  Now, I wasn't there and it my be my interpretation of the video, but with all those archers and arrows flying it didn't look too safe.  It looked like there was a potential for shooting towards others.
One thing I really didn't care to see was the dog going after one of the cribbles.  It isn't the dog's fault, but it is part of their job to take care of cripples.  But how are they to safely do that with an arrow tip sticking out?  We that said what about retrieving?

Mpemt,Everyone used blunt tipped arrows.  When the dog went on point  we would make a straight line 10 or so yards back from the dog. 95% of the time the birds flew up or straight away, so there was no chance of hitting anyone. There was 1 or 2 instances where the birds flew in an unsafe position and either no one shot or the last guy or 2 in line did. I can honestly say we didnt have one instance  where anyone had any type of close call.

Ok, it just looked like a semi circle in the video.

This is perectly ethical and sportsman like. I am 16 years old and have been hunting phesants sence I was 12. Me and my dad do not hunt with a dog. We just walk thru the woods and try to kick up the birds by ourselves. Alot of the time we just keep pushing the bird and it never kicks up and when we get to the end of the field we see it running down the trail and we go after it. We kick it up with our feet ( or scared it ) and it gets up and we harvest it. We do not kick the birds like a football either.

Remember, I dont hunt with a dog. So if I see a pheasant hunkering down in some thick gr [no swearing please] am I just goin to leave it there because it didnt kick up? NO! I am goin to walk over there. If it kicks up while I'm walking over there then thats great but if it doesnt then I'll tap it with my boot and that bad boy will kick up. I'm not just goin to leave it there.

Almost all native pheasants are gone from NJ. Almost all of the pheasants we hunt are stocked. And what is the reason that they are stocked? To be harvested. As long as you are doin it in an ethical manor, thats fine with me.

You dont just let a pheasant go because it wont kick up from your dog or you walking by. If you need to walk over there and tap it with your boot or your gun or an arrow, you do that...

Great videos guys! Keep up the great work!

It takes real skill to arrow a bird in flight. But it takes a complete moron to step and or kick a bird to fly. There is no sport in that, and ones that did this, your not hunters, you all should be ashamed of yourselfs for doing this. At least don't brag about it and post pictures on here knowing that "THEY" are watching, what you did was add more wood to there fire, "THEY" will use this towards us and hunting and try in ernest to stop us

BHC called that one huh.

I can see I have been away for a long time. Wow this is a good one. I also hunted birds eons ago when they were really wild birds called "Natives" for some of you who never had the chance to hunt them. Then they were wiped out by disease. Then came the stock birds. That is when I put my dog away and started using a stick. They taste better without all the lead in them.

For you guys with the bows all I can say is that was AWESOME.

And this one is for you CAT look out I don't need a dog I found the stick in my garage. I will bet you I get more birds then you.
