Looking to buy a decent tripod feeder with a broadcaster. What do you recommend? So far I like the 30 gallon Moultrie. If you have one laying around, pm me. __________________ I pledge to not start gay threads PRO STAFF

What do you recommend? I recommend hunting without bait and use natural travel patterns and funnels near acorn flats.

OK. Just get it out of there before the season starts.
If you don't, you might as well just a buy an X-bow to go with it for September... ![]()

| Moultre 30 gallon E-Z fill. It's a little shorter than most so you don't need to use a ladder, or stand on a bucket to fill it. $130. | ||

This is what I did...
Bought a 55 gallon Moultrie with the programmable timer that used 2 9 volts. Instead of using their tripod legs, I found a fence company in Garfield. I bought 3 pieces of fence post 16 feet each and used them for legs. Very sturdy and wont buckle due to the length. The feeder motor wound up about 12 feet off the ground. I poured some hand mixed cement at the base of each pole after digging some dirt out of the area. Nothing has knocked it down or got up to motor; bears coons squirrels... I left a ladder in the area to refill the barrel. __________________ Soylent green is PEOPLE
