Yes, those places still exist where they find ways for you not to get lunch etc." I worked independant for 20 years,we always had lunch breaks,and you could go to the bathroom whenever you wanted,and we followed the same saftey rules the unions do. The benefits of self employment. When you work for some one else who does not allow paid days off your sick kid goes to school or you have to rely on family member. Remember there is a difference between work out of a hall versus working for a union company. Pointless thread. Who makes up the largest tax contribution towards a municipalities budget? However, what most who do not understand simple economics (like our President) fail to realize is that you can't have a working economy without big businesses. They employ many people and they absorb a huge portion of the tax burden in most cases.
