First is a Steve Pennington split bamboo fly rod with two tips med-fast action 8'6" 5 wt perfect for trout or panfish matching #'s on tips comes with a Teton fly reel with floating weight forward fly line. $350.00

Second is a Cabela's SlI 9' 6 wt graphite fly rod 2 piece aluminum travel tube I think caabela's uses sage blanks.It comes with a scientific angler system 2 fly reel with extra arbor. this outfit will work from panfish all the way up to bass. $300.00

Is the bamboo rod hex or quad?  Looks quad (four sided) in the pics.

Bump for the evening crew.The bamboo fly rod alone lists for $600 AND THE REEL WILL GO ANOTHER $100. THE OTHEr ROD LISTS FOR $300 AND REEL LISTS FOR $150 PLUS THE EXTRA ARBOR IS ANOTHER $50 PLUS TWO FLYLINES AND BACKING and are in excellent condition.If you want a nice setup at half price here they are.

Thank you, did not mean to come off rude.  If it were a quad I would have taken it, always wanted one and your package is a great deal.  Pennington made nice "blue collar" rods.  I believe he is now retired.

Me and you must have been typing at the same that is why I din't answer right away when I pulled up the post your's wasn't there.  yes Steve has retired which will make the Bamboo rod worth that much more in a few years.

Price reduced to $250.00 for either setup or they go on ebay. These are both top of the line setups at dirt cheap price. the bamboo fly rod lists for $700 and the the maker retired so it will go up in value.
