I know I'm going to take some heat for this, but why isn't the fish a bright chrome color like in the wild? Old time taxidermists were able to duplicate those colors. No, I couldn't do any better or even close to what you guys did. Striper mounts are a pet peeve of mine. Does any one have a photo of a Fred Huber or Chuck S mount as a reference to show what I'm talking about???

Nice striper and mount.  Lot of time & work making the mold, as well.

Sometimes when you take a photo of a fish mount it is very difficult to appreciate how it actually looks uless you see it in person. This is due too the glare you get off the gloss top coat... Some times you are actually better off painting the fish spraying a little semi gloss on it ,then give the fish some real good light and let that and along with the flash from the camera act as the gloss top coat. Also it does depend on the quality of the photography equipment you are using.

Keep up the good work guys

Bughunter.
To truly appreciate the detail you would have to see it in person and your more then welcome to come check it out ,I want to figure out a photo set up to really capture the under tones  and scale detail, the pic just dont do it justice I would say 95 pecent of the striper mounts ive seen are a genaric paint job , Stripers have just as many colors as weak fish purple blues greens browns .
