NJ Hunter / New Jersey Deer, Bear & Turkey Hunting / Deer Action / Deer Zone 8 / Got a nice muzzy 8 pnt today. (pics)

The morning was uneventful as for seeing deer. I did see probably 1000 snow geese, those things were all over the place for about an hour this morning. I saw my first deer at 3:45 this afternoon. First deer I've seen this early since the week of 6 day. Well this was just the beginning. The wind and humidity was perfect today, I was virtually undetectable. I had deer bleeding into the field over my left should about 200 yards away, this field was not huntable property for me. 300 yards in front of me more deer were just appearing out of the hedge row, this was a field I could hunt. The deer over my left should were closer so I kept an eye on them. I could see a nice sized buck bringing up the rear, extremely cautiously. Before I knew it I had many eyes on me and could not raise the gun. About 9 deer from my left were spread in front of me and 10 more from the front joined them. I had 20 deer within 40 or 50 yards of me and could not raise the gun. After about 20 minutes of this they start walking off in front of me. The 8 point still has not walked to the field I can hunt. He seems to be a little older and smarter and very wary. When he does decide to follow the rest I still have 1 doe eyeballing me so I have to let him walk by broadside at 30 yards. When I get a chance to raise the gun, I've got a great bead on his a$$. He is walking directly away from me. When he finally turns slightly quartering away I've got a branch in the way. He takes 1 more fatal step and is completely broadside @ 40 yards. My power belt penetrated both shoulders and took the heart out. He was done with in 2 minutes. All in all there were 3 spikes 1 4 pointer 1 6 pointer and the eight.
