I just bought a CVA Wolf I just got it I have not even put the scope on it. I cant wait to shoot it I hope its accurate as my T/C Thunderhawk. I wanted the break open action with a 209 primer thats why I picked up a CVA Wolf. __________________ I just want to Hunt...

I have the CVA Optima Pro in stainless steel with the camo thumhole stock. I have the .50 cal muzzy barrel and a 30.06 rifle barrel. Very nice & versatile gun for the money, and very accurate. ![]() ![]() __________________ Sometimes you're the windshield . . . sometimes you're the bug

I have the optima .209. I use the Barnes Expanders in 248 grains with 100 grains of 777. It's accurate out to about 125 yds-but not as accurate as I would like.
Here's what is I like about it very inexpensive, under $200.00, and very easy to clean-simply break the action, pull the breach plug, and wipe. Here's what I don't like. Ramrod is a little flimsy and had to be replaced two times-now I have an all aluminum one. Using 150 grains of powder(as it is rated for that) created a lot of scope creap-scope would slide in 1/16ths of an inch on the shot--forced me to drop to 100 grains of powder. No matter what round I try, I can't get it to pattern any better than a 4" group at 125 yds. I expected more accuracy out of rifle. My 870 with slug barrel groups 2" at 200 yds! All and All its a good inexpensive muzzy for NJ hunting-but I will not take mine out of state or anywhere when I expect to shoot over 100 yds. __________________ Lord make me fast and accurate,
