Maybe too new for opinions yet, though it got high marks in the Cabela's cust. reviews. On sale at $100. off to boot. Just noticed it's made by Bushnell for Cabela's.

Figures Bushnell would make it.  Tons of complaints about Bushnell ... and 3/4 of what Cabelas sells is crap.

Totally disagree with you on that one.

I have had bad experiences with Bushnell range finders as well. I bought a Nikon 550 this year and cannot think of one complaint.

I also disagree on the statement that "3/4 of what Cabelas sells is crap"

What is ARC is that the compensation for being in a tree? If so that is bogus as are those pengulum sights. The difference in distance from a elevation od 20 feet at 10,20,30 yards is negligable. The reason bow hunters sometimes shoot high from a tree stand is because they are not bending at the waist consequently increasing their draw length There is another thread where I did the trigonometry to show this. I will look for it and link it.

I have the Nikon 440 and love it. It is the size of a cigerette pack. The only complaint is the LCD readout is not visable in low light conditions. An LED readout would be better.

I think Cabelas Pine Ridge scopes are crap other than that I cannot complain about Cabelas merchandise.
