Tonight I was filming for a DTOR member and we saw a small buck thrashing a sapling.!
Then.. I was on my way home and a friend of mine who is a trooper and on patrol tonight called to tell me of a big buck that just got hit in the road near an area that I hunt . I stopped to see the buck and was told it was hit while chaseing a group of does across the road. Less then an hour later, he calls me back and say "Guess what? You aren't going to believe this but a nicer Buck just got hit about 2 miles farther down the road !". It too was following a doe. I also had a hunter tell me of a buck that was shot about two days ago and it had darkened tarsls and stunk. Just give'n ya all a heads up ....Get back out there ! __________________ <- <- <- <- ~ <- <- <- <-

| been seeing new rubs and freshened scrapes in 26...had a broken-horn buck dogging every doe in the area last week...looks like they're lookin' for one more before it's all over | ||

I watch a half rack (5 on one side) fight another eight pointer for ten minutes or more five days ago.
Just down the road from my house in a small field around dark. Three does were with them. Some cold weather loving going on. |
