| Anyone notice any worms in any of the ducks they have killed?Looks like tiny maggots all through the breasts.The duck in question was a black duck. | ||

| Never mind there is a blog on the Ducks Unlimited site that explains exactly what it is. Its called sarcocystis or rice breast.You can read all about it on the biologist blog. | ||

Had a drake mallard with rice breast here in Waterford two weeks ago.
One breast infested, the other was fine. Infested went to the trash. |
