My regular customers and the guys I hunt with say every year that the new state and maybe the world record is in Monmouth county NJ.I have seen bigger bucks that those posted on this site from my tree stands. I just was not lucky enough to get them.

Where did that dead 8 point come from - looks just like one I looked at on the side of the road (Crine Road) in colts neck. Had a suit on and no time to mess with it. Told a farmer about the deer. He sent a guy up about 30 minutes later and the deer was gone already

The number of p&Y bucks that are shot down here is incredible. I was told by a guy that back in the 1930's, they released a bunch of deer in monmouth county that were brought in from Missouri. I dont know if there is any truth to it, but there are some great gene lines down here.
