What a great morning, got to the stand a little later then I wanted too.
At 6:59 I see a doe coming from my left and right on her tail was a buck when I first saw the doe I reached for my bow, the doe went past my stand and as I was about to try and stop the buck he stopped on his own (12 yards) and I put the pin on him and let an arrow fly... I heard and saw what I thought was a good hit but the buck ran off about 50 or 60 yards and stop and looked around?? I was starting to doubt my shot, he then walks away to the right and I can't see him anymore about 10 seconds later I hear a crash... While all this is going on that doe is 6 yards to my right from my stand and has no clue why this buck stopped chasing her, she walks towards the buck and took a look, when she didn't see him she walked away... I waited for like 20 min and got down to look for my arrow, no arrow to be found and no blood what so ever??? WTF Now I start doubting my shot, so I called Al to tell him that I had shot a buck, so he tells me to give the deer some time before getting down.  
I waited another hour or so and got down and took a walk to my right and looked down the ridge and could see my buck 60 yards away.. 
Tried to drag him out myself, I moved him ten feet and I called Al and my brother that was home so they could help...  He was huge, my biggest body deer so far..
Never did find my arrow or blood?? 
What can I say, AL thanks so much for taking me hunting at your place, Thanks meng..  It aint easy being cheesy...
On a side not I want to thank the UBNJ and the NJOA for the Sunday bow hunting bill, I haven't been able to get out as much as other years and hunting on Sundays is my only option, so THANK YOU!!!  __________________ Earth First, We Can Hunt The Rest Of The Planets Later.
