Great recovery and pursuit it was well worth it I see.Your earned it. 500 not bad for gut shot. Was he any where near water? Beutifull deer and congrats.

Congrats on the very nice January Buck! You did a great job on finding him after he went as far as he did. Your stars were lined up. No snow - rain - and that deer would have gone to waist.
What area did he come from? I saw 2 separate groups of bucks today at 4:15 in Marlboro, and one was a slamming 8 point about 19- 20 inches wide, high , and thick, running with 3 other bucks. The bucks seem to be together again - find one, find 3. Congrats on a great overall effort! |

He was from Holmdel and if there was no snow on the ground, he would'nt be where he is today.

Anthony had a very rough year hunting this season....missed more then a few times, hit two other bucks, but did not recover them....
This was his reward for a tough year.
