| Had to leave the woods early tonite to pick up my brother so there was plenty of light left. Had a pretty little fox step out at 10 yards while i was walking out. Thought about taking it but the only use i would have for it is to get it mounted. I dont think i have the available funds righht now so i let it walk. Was wondering what the average price would be for a full body mount for a fox? | ||

Nope-opens Oct.3 Yeah wasnt sure about that either which another reason i let it walk. Where i hunt is loaded with them and i know ill get more opportunities which is what made me wonder how much it would cost. |

Quote: Cost is on par with a deer mount, not cheap but worth it. IMO fox make the best looking mounts of any animal in the NJ woods, now all I need is a gray fox. I have two reds mounted, a large female and a large male both with perfect coats each taken in the middle of winter with a flintlock.
Was wondering what the average price would be for a full body mount for a fox? Just my opinion...Don't show teeth for a classy mount. |

Average cost on a fox will more than likely be anywhere from 400-700 depending on who you take it to. Habitat extra, and usually a base will be extra unless you go very simple. __________________ Wildlife Expressions Taxidermy

If considering getting a Red Fox mounted and they are fairly prominent in your area you are much better off waiting until December thru February when their coat is in prime condition Good luck !!__________________ All-Game-Taxidermy,By Carl Osterlund Since 1977.(NJH-CROALLGAME)

A mount just like this is $575.00
or this
With another animal (charged acording to animal) or a base (35% x the cost of the mount), is more.

Nice mounts
My male is mounted like the top one and my female is like the second one laying down. All I need is a gray. |
