12,000 BTU... Bought this for my mom last June for 400.00. It keeps blowing the breaker in her kitchen. I neglected to check the amp rating in her kitchen. So I got a smaller window unit. This A/C is BRAND NEW. She used it a total of 3 times. No need to empty water it mist out the window duct. No cutting to run duct work the duct fits right in your window. So my loss it your gain. These are great, I use one in my tent in the summer when the campsite has power. Keeps everything cool and even better dry.
