My Great grandfather had a farm in Farmingdale that my father hunted and that's where I started hunting when I was 10.  Now its all condos.  We hunted where the reservoir now is.  Have not hunted rabit since.

I was in Manasquan WMS today scouting and came across 2 hunters (father & son) with a beagle.  The son got 2 bunnies today.

I drove down the main entrance road on tuesday night at Manasquan, and had a bunny hop across the street right in front of my truck.

Cheese, we use to hunt the same area....

The first rabbit I shot was in a field off Rt 9 in Howell where the across the street from Kmart next to the Moon Motel..Many rabbits taken along the RR tracks in Farmingdale and McDowells Gravel Pits. We used to also hunt former Kesslers Farms on Allaire Rd and the Old County Ponds (see if anyone remembers these spots)..It has been along time since I hunted bunnies..

Unfortunately, those spots are "all" under the legal discharge distance now.
Kesslers got swallowed up between the water plant and Allaire.
The Blue Moon Motel was more famous for water beds and XXX movies than rabbit hunting.
