I have two choices stay home and fight or up a tree and sleep. What do think is safer?

A good power nap here and there.  Usually, more so in early bow when the weather is warmer.

nothing better than getting out of work early and heading to the stand for a little nap

yes I do, and it's getting easier, My first stand was the original baker,(not so commfy) but the ones now are really commfy, and safe.

With the wind slowly blowing through the trees, It's like a lulaby. I've woke up many times with deer directly under me.

I close my eyes for a fe power naps every once in awhile.  As long as you have a safety harness your golden  I like taking alittle nap when it is cold out...for some reason I think it warms me up  Though i did miss a shot opportunity with a really good seven point earlier this year because i closed my eyes for a few mins.

Yes, normally in the afternoon take short naps.  There have been times when I woke up there were deer all around.

I do when I wake thats when I usually have the most deer action to bad usually can't do anything without getting busted though.

I think the pic that someone on here took of that guy sleeping underneath his stand was funny as heck.  Anyone know where that is?

I feel asleep in upstate Pa. while sitting on a rock and a hot seat. I woke up close to a hour later covered in snow. I stood up to brush off and deer busted 50 yards away. I have woken up several times to deer walking. I should try it more often.

I never intend to go to sleep but I usually find myself waking up, wondering how did that happen. The older I get the more times I find it happening.

I love to fall a sleep in stand.
1st. my wife snorzzz so loud its  the only place I get a sound sleep.
2nd. it helps me stay in stand all day.
I use a summit viper and HSS safety vest. So I don't worry about falling out.
And yes deer have snuck in while I was a sleep. But they always wake me up with the rusting of leaves or the snap of a twig. At least I thing they do maybe so of them sneak by but that’s okay. I don't mind it at all.

Fall asleep about 1/2 the time.

My dad fell asleep in the snow and woke up with 2 bucks 30 yards in front of him.  An old timer told him sleeping was the best thing he could have done.  If he was awake, he would have seen them coming 100 yards away.  By sleeping he got a nice and clean kill.

Almost every day I nod off. I finally relax from work and the sun and the peace and quiet just knocks me out.
