I saw two trotting across Newton-Sparta Road into the Chun-Bo restaurant parking lot last Friday.
Right around dinner time. Maybe they were hungry. Ken __________________ Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't after you. - Joseph Heller (Catch-22)

I think I have you all beat (except for the moose at McD's maybe!) Last week I was on the ramp from rt. 280 east that leads to the turnpike north in Harrison (which is east of Newark)there was a truck going very slowly up the ramp to the turnpike, when he finally moved over there was a spike trotting up the middle of the road on the entrance ramp! The truck blew his horn and the deer jumped over the guardrail and into a cattail swamp about one half mile from the Kearney postal facility! Been working in that area for over thirty years and never even heard of a deer around there, let alone see one!!! __________________ See you out there...!

Olden Ave in Ewing, NJ, again and no idea why, right across the street from Micky D's in the Incarnation Church playground. A six pointer and a forkhorn plus 6 does and three fawns. The Six was hit by a car as were 2 of the fawns. __________________ We have enough gun control. What we need is idiot control.

95 Rt. 17 South in Paramus. Deer come from the golf course in Paramus, walk the stream under the GS Parkway, saunter across the Ikea, Capital Lighting/Globe Shoes parking lots and into the backlot of 95 South to eat Gabrellian's evergreens in the winter. They've been doing this since 2001. __________________ "It bothers some people that the best fighting handgun in the world was developed 100 years ago." - Jeff Cooper

While driving on Rt 95, just before Rt 80, an buck bounded out of the meadows that are now being made into a park. Made it across all of the northbound lanes, halfway across the southbound, then turned around and made it all the way back to where it came from. It didn't get hit or cause any accidents. __________________ NRA Life Member

Behind the shop in Mahwah on Franklin turnpike. Now mind you the shop is about 25 ft from the train tracks and trains come through alot. He was just grazing away paying no mind to us or the trains. also seen a few turkey behind the shop.
After graduating HS I worked at the local Farm bureau right in the center of the town, no woods withen miles. had a deer run up the ramp and right by the feedmill. The feedmill manager tried to get me to jump it,I told him he lost his damn mind . I also seen a bear running through the parking lot one day there. come to think of it there was train tracks behind that store as well.
