A hunt on Dry Brook Ridge NY, camped at the DB hut. My buddy got a nice 10, if I come across the slide, I'll add it. I believe this was 83.
I believe we were doing some Coke in the lower photo

Here's an X rated hunting pic, nothing like a shower in the Rockies,1986. Hunted just east of Sunrise Valley, Id. Lots of elk encounters, but it's tough with the bow
....................http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d167/houndawgg/Idelk.jpg

This is the horse I had to ride all week, her name was Muff. She fit that name, I had to change all my fillings because she had such a choppy walk

....................http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d167/houndawgg/IdahoElk86.jpg

Unloading the flicklock into the camp stump was a tradition. The Pa. black powder after Xmas use to be a fun hunt, always had snow and -cold weather. We stopped going when Pa. screwed up all the rules.

Millbrook Rd. campsite in Dry Brook, NY 1987, got skunked that year.

Not old hunting pics, but old field archery. Chizzy LaSala on the left, shooting a Golden Eagle.
I'm shooting a Hoyt Spectre, first fastflite bow I bought and one of the best shooters Hoyt ever built.
We're on the 80 yarder at Garden State Archers.

.......................http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d167/houndawgg/fieldarchery.jpg

44 yard hunter face, got a twenty. I was shooting an old Jennings Super T, the best shooter they ever made.
I just put a small set of wheels on the T this year and gave it to a young kid. He's doing good with it, we'll see if he ends up being a bowhunter.

The only thing is every time he sees my father and our crew he sees me unless he's cut my picture out. I doubt it though. I don't need the pictures.

Penn. Jan., 1980 flintlock. It don't get any colder than along the Delaware Rive in Jan.

..................................http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d167/houndawgg/penn80a.jpg

I believe this is  Oct. 1979, right after I bought some Penn. property. Put this trailer there and ran electric, everything else was primitive.
I'm wearing my "old" UBNJ jacket.

Let's keep 'em coming guys.

Like those socks tommy? you should have seen my when mom sent me to school. I think there were a couple of times when she sent me in white patten leather shoes with matching belt..

I havent trapped in a couple years since pop got sick. The few years before that I would set a trap line we would check together. 3 years ago we set a trap line for beaver at picatinny and limited out.. It was a nice year.

My favorite picture ever. I just wish I'd had not gutted him first, what a tummy he had. Chemically tooth aged by layer, he was 4.5 years old.
The picture was "washed out", amazing what todays software can do.
